    Spicy Chicken Fry Recipe / Spicy Fried Chicken Recipe

    This is going to be another fried chicken recipe..Do you think, there is enough fried chicken in the internet? yes there is..Do you think you need another one? No We dont..Yes I need, I am gonna give you another one anyway..Because this is a special one..

    This is spicy and very tasty one..It is one of my hubby's favorite one..Ofcourse all fried chicken is my hubby's favorite one..But this one is in bite size pieces and taste phenominal..So try this out and let me know how it turned for you..

    Preparation Time : 10 mins
    Marinating Time : 30 mins
    Cooking Time : 30 mins 
    Serves : 4 

    Ingredients:

    Chicken - 500 grams / ½ kg cut into small pieces
    Rice Flour / Arisi Flour - ¼ cup
    Oil - for Deep Frying
    Red Food Colouring a pinch (Optional)


    For Grinding:
    Shallots / Sambar Onion - 10 peeled
    Tomatoes - 1 medium size chopped
    Ginger Garlic Paste - 2 tblspn
    Coriander Leaves / Cilantro - a handful
    Chilli Powder - 1 tblspn or to taste
    Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi - 1 tsp
    Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
    Garam Masala Powder - 1 tblspn
    Salt to taste


    Method:

    Grind all the ingredients given for grinding to a fine paste. Pour that over chicken, mix well and let it marinate for 30 mins.

    Before you fry, add in rice flour and red colour. Mix well.

    Heat oil for deep frying, once it is hot, add the chicken pieces and fry it for 5 mins on high, lower the flame, cover the kadai with a lid and cook for 15 mins.

    Now increase the heat, open the lid and brown the chicken, it will take around 5 to 8 mins.

    Once it is fried, drain and serve with rice.

    Mix it well and let this marinate for 30 mins

    Add in some red colour which is entirely optional
