Carrot Rice, Broccoli Poriyal – Kids Lunch Box Ideas 40
Today’s lunch box is Carrot rice with Broccoli poriyal.
For carrot rice, cook rice and set aside to cool down. Heat ghee in a pan. Add cardamom, cinnamon and fennel seeds. Add garlic paste and grated carrots. Add in salt, chilli powder, cumin seeds and garam masala powder. Add cooked rice and mix well.

Carrot Rice: Heat ghee, add in a small piece of cinnamon, cardamom and fennel seeds. Add in grated garlic and mix well. Add in grated carrots and saute for 3 to 4 mins. Add in chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder. Add salt and mix well. Add cooked rice and mix well. Serve.
